About Guimo's

Welcome to Guimo's Mexican Restaurant in Sun Prairie, Wisconsin, where generations of family cooks have passed down the traditional methods of Mexican cooking. From our grandmothers to our mothers and wives, these cherished techniques have been refined and perfected over the years.

My brother, best friend, and I have spent years honing our culinary skills, blending these traditional methods with our unique touch. When my brother initially suggested starting with a food cart, I knew we could aim higher. I proposed opening a restaurant instead. Seven years later, we are proud to have just opened our new location on Main Street in Sun Prairie.

Guimo's Mexican Restaurant has been a part of the Sun Prairie community for over 15 years. Our journey began with managing restaurants for the Food Fight group in Madison, where we gained invaluable experience and knowledge.

We are excited to offer catering services for a variety of events, including weddings, quinceañeras, business parties, birthdays, funerals, and more. Additionally, we have food trucks available for private events, bringing our delicious Mexican cuisine directly to you.
